Got a question about WeRoam?

Everything you need to know about getting outside, earning points, and making the most of your roams.

How WeRoam works

New to WeRoam? Here's the quick version — then dive into the questions below.

  1. Download and sign up. Get WeRoam free from the App Store or Google Play and confirm your email to get started.
  2. Move however you like. Every walk, wheel or cycle counts. Connect an app like Strava or Apple Health and your activities import automatically.
  3. Collect Roam Markers. These are real-world points of interest across Kent — open the map, head to one and tap to collect it. They come in three tiers: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
  4. Take on challenges. You're automatically added to all open challenges, so they're ready and waiting in your account.
  5. Earn points and level up. You collect roaming points (from markers), workout points (from your activities) and challenge points (from challenges), all counting towards your level. There are 60+ levels to work through — each time you reach the next one, your points reset to zero and you start climbing again towards the level after.
  6. Unlock rewards. Keep moving to unlock rewards from local partners while supporting greener, more active local travel.
