Walk the King Charles III England Coast Path — together. Every mile you walk anywhere in Kent counts towards one shared, county-wide total. #KentCoastBigWalkAndWheel
Saturday 25 July – Monday 31 August 2026
The challenge The King Charles III England Coast Path runs around 200 miles through Kent, from Gravesend to Camber Sands. We're asking the whole WeRoam community to walk it — collectively. Whether you're on the coast or strolling through town, every mile adds to the shared total.
On the coast path or a lunchtime walk — wherever you roam in Kent, your miles add to the county total.
A draw every two weeks. Log just one activity in the window and you're automatically in.
Time-limited Gold Markers drop across Kent with no notice. Be in the right place at the right time.
All ages and abilities welcome — "wheel" is for wheelchair users, so everyone can take part. Cycling isn't included in this challenge.
WeRoam rewards you for moving outdoors with digital markers placed right across Kent. Three tiers, three ways to score.
50–500 points, randomised daily. Permanent markers in every WeRoam town — the score changes each day, so any walk could be a big-points day. Your always-on habit engine.
Fixed points on named routes. Placed along curated Explore Kent walking routes — follow the route and collect them all the way round.
Never announced. Time-limited markers that appear by alert and vanish within hours. Scarcity is the whole game.
Gold Markers are the most exciting part of the challenge — surprise treasure that pops up all summer long. Around two events drop every week, each announced only by an alert and gone within hours. No advance notice, so keep your alerts switched on.
Gold Markers land for 48–72 hours — a reason to explore somewhere new for the weekend.
Gold Markers appear at iconic locations, tied to challenge milestones — and a prize draw.
Completely unannounced. A 12–24 hour window, alert only. Blink and you'll miss it.
Gold Markers at local businesses — discover one and unlock a voucher. Limited quantity, first come first served.
You don't need to live by the King Charles III coastal path to take part. We're launching curated walking routes in towns right across Kent — each with Silver waypoints and a Bronze grid, built from Explore Kent's route library. Every mile still counts towards the shared total.
